Installation and use of butt welding flange

  1. Before installing the butt welding flange, pay attention to check whether the nominal pressure of the flange meets the design requirements; check whether the sealing surface of the flange is smooth and clean, whether there are burrs and radial grooves, and whether the threaded part of the flange is Complete and undamaged. Whether the concave-convex flange can be naturally fitted in, especially the non-destructive testing of the welding flange must be done well, so as not to damage the inside of the welding flange and affect the performance and service life of the flange.
  2. Before installing the butt welding flange, please pay attention to cleaning. After all, the sealing surface of the flange must be tightly connected with gaskets and bolts. The flange sealing surface should be cleaned with special cleaning tools and methods, the purpose of which is to prevent damage to the welded flange.
  3. Arrange the inner and outer sides of the stainless steel pipe fittings before connecting the butt welding flanges, and then install the flanges with slotted rings on the pipes that need to be connected. Above, the ports of the pipes need to be flanged at 90 degrees. After treatment, the end surface of the pipe needs to be ground. After grinding, it should be free of burrs, bumps and deformations, vertical and flat, and special tools are required to round it.
  4. Use the finished product to flang the short pipe and then weld it on the pipe for use. Insert the O-shaped rubber sealing ring and stainless steel sealing ring installed on both sides into the flange with the grooved ring for sealing. The inner diameter of the inner hole of the sealing ring is the same as that of the pipe, and then the flange holes are connected with bolts. Bolt assemblies need to be tightened symmetrically. When tightening butt weld flanges, pay attention to the sealing of each joint and meet the required specifications.
